PRIMARY JOB DUTIES 1. Responsible for assisting with weekend/holiday patient care operations in all 3 care centers ensuring that policies, practices, procedures and standards of agency, accreditation, regulatory, and legal requirements are met. 2. Assists with patient care activities including but not limited to admissions, discharges, and transfers. 3. Fill empty shifts for call outs of any discipline 4. Works collaboratively with Patient Access Dept, Clinical Liaisons, on-call staff, and referral sources to smoothe transition to the inpatient unit.. 5. Responsible for assuring quality outcomes for patients/families. 6. Coordinate and address any issues with building maintenance for the 3 care centers. 7. Fosters an atmosphere conducive to enhanced employee satisfaction and professional growth. 8. As needed, will serve as liaison/resource nurse to hospitals, other facilities, and health care professionals. 9. Annually continues personal development to enhance practice and profession. 10. Organizes and performs work effectively and efficiently. 11. Maintains and adjusts schedule to enhance team performance. 12. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team. 13. Maintains and promotes customer satisfaction. 14. Effectively demonstrates the mission, vision, and values of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare on a daily basis.
