RN Triage Coordinator
About The Position
The RN Triage Coordinator is responsible for monitoring all chats, pool messages, and call queues, and provides support to the Assistant Nurse Manager. This role involves assessing patient health problems and needs through telephone contact with patients, parents, or guardians, particularly when call volumes are high. The coordinator will support clinic practices by adhering to established protocols for communication, ensuring a patient-centered approach. Key functions include proper triage and escalation of cases to clinic providers, as well as escalating any concerns related to the RN Triage team to the Assistant Nurse Manager.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License active in the state of Missouri

- Previous nursing experience, especially in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
Responsibilities

- Supporting the Assistant Nurse Manager

- Supporting clinic practices by using established protocols for communication with the patient/parents/guardian in a way that supports patient-centered care
- Proper triage and escalation of cases to the clinic providers
- Escalating any concerns related to the RN Triage team to the Assistant Nurse Manager
