About The Position

Are you an RN who is a night owl looking for a Supervisor/Administrative role to meet your flexible schedule as full time, this IS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU! Our Lady of Mercy is looking for a Weekend RN Supervisor for our Overnight shift, 7p-7a EVERY WEEKEND! Saturday and Sunday! Our Weekend Track program allows for you to work another job during the week or spend time with your family! Are you currently in school working towards your BSN or MSN? This position allows you to dedicate your week to school and weekends to work and be eligible for FULL-TIME BENEFITS. Are you looking into furthering your education? This is your chance to get administrative clinical experience - manage resident care delivery across all units, be the clinical reference nurse administrator in absence of unit leaders on the overnight shift! Requirements

A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York
Associate’s degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school
The RN Supervisor must be able to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds and possess strong de-escalation skills.
The RN Supervisor must have excellent time management and organizational skills
The RN Supervisor must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written and possess strong critical thinking skills to problem solve

Nice To Haves

1 year or more of experience in a skilled nursing setting as a RN

Responsibilities

On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
Perform assessments on elder's that may have had a fall, a decline in condition or perhaps suicidal comments
Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus and address staffing and family concerns
Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities
Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
