Experienced RN | Trach & Vent Care Specialist for Home Care in Middleburg heights, Ohio

Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license (unencumbered)
- 1+ year clinical experience
- Strong clinical and independent decision-making skills
- BLS/CPR certified + TB clearance
- Reliable transportation & valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility
- Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19, Flu, Hep B)

- 1+ year clinical experience in home care/critical care
Responsibilities
- Participate in hands-on Trach & Vent Care Training
- Practice proper airway management and ventilator support
- Apply infection control and patient safety protocols
- Monitor progress and actively engage in learning
- Maintain accurate documentation of skills and competencies
- Follow clinical guidance to ensure safe care delivery
- Communicate effectively with trainers and peers
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and clinical standards
- Provide skilled trach and ventilator care within RN scope of practice
- Follow and implement individualized care plans using clinical judgment
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the Director of Nursing
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Follow agency protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on trach and ventilator care and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
