The unit offers a wide range of surgical services, including vascular procedures (such as interventional treatments, AV fistula creation, and bypass surgeries), as well as general surgery, gynecology, endocrine, orthopedic, urology, and pain management procedures. Together, the team ensures every patient receives high-quality surgical care in a compassionate, supportive, and healing environment. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within six months of hire
• One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
