About The Position

Join Our Transfer Receiving Unit Team at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center! Are you passionate about patient care and advancing your nursing career? We receive patients as a "swarm" (nurses and CNAs), like a code team response, then cohort patients into nursing assignments. We quickly get provider to bedside, finish workup, admission and triage them to final inpatient bed. We help level load across the Legacy system, take transfers from across the PNW, and support other departments at Good Sam as needed for throughput. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Minimum one year of nursing experience or completed residency.
  • Acute care experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and EHR skills.
  • Current RN license and BLS certification and ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred (or in progress).
  • Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
