RN Staff Nurse - Transfer Receiving Unit

We receive patients as a “swarm” (nurses and CNAs), like a code team response, then cohort patients into nursing assignments. We quickly get provider to bedside, finish workup, admission and triage them to final inpatient bed. We help level load across the Legacy system, take transfers from across the PNW, and support other departments at Good Sam as needed for throughput. Relocation assistance available for new nurses to Legacy!
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience or completed residency.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and EHR skills.
- Current RN license and BLS certification and ACLS within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred (or in progress).
- Acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
