About The Position

Providence is inviting current nursing students and recent graduates to apply for our RN Residency Program at Providence Medford Medical Center. An RN Residency with Providence will provide the foundation and support essential to becoming an expert in your specialty. Learn through a combination of structured curriculum, simulation, and authentic patient experience guided by experienced preceptors. If you are a recent graduated RN, with less than 12 months of experience, then the Providence resident program is for you. Providence Medford Medical Center is a full-service, 120-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital providing exceptional health care to southern Oregon and northern California. Services offered include emergency services, stroke care, cardiac and vascular care, birth center, total joint replacement and spine health programs, robotic surgery, pain management services and one of the most comprehensive rehabilitation programs in the region. Full-Time, available at Providence Medford Medical Center All openings will require scheduling on rotating weekends Extra incentives: Night shift differential – $10 p/hr Medical Plan Assistance Program- provides free or reduced-cost coverage to caregivers and their eligible dependents who qualify based on household size and income Tuition reimbursement/education– includes 100% tuition paid program options; up to $5,250 per year for select undergraduate and masters degrees within Guild catalog. Required books and fees are 100% covered or reimbursable for select schools in the Guild catalog up to program funding cap Paid Time Off – Benefit eligible caregivers receive generous PTO accrual allowances Retirement - The Providence retirement program consists of employer match and discretionary contributions that work together with your pre-tax (and/orRoth aftertax) contributions to help you save for retirement. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association. (select units)
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.

  • National Certification in area of specialty is preferred, unless otherwise indicated.
