Job Summary: Audits clinical documentation, provides training as necessary, serves in a clinical documentation support role and provides periodic compliance reporting. Monitors, audits, analyzes reliability functions for assigned units. Ensures staff are providing care in line with regulatory policy. Ensures documentation of care is compliant with regulations. Provides direction and expert guidance to staff. Runs program(s) with moderate budget/impact. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred Two years' accounting or billing experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required LEAN certification: Preferred Essential Functions: Conducts ongoing regulatory unit specific tracer activity to identify opportunities for improvement and provides training. Provides training related to unit specific monitoring and auditing. Provides ongoing education and training to staff regarding regulatory requirements. Participates in unit department meetings, and other meetings as needed, to address departmental issues and provide expertise. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
