About The Position

Corewell Health South is a health system comprising three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations, providing both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan. The RN or LPN in Womens Health delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. This role demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA, encompassing ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health, striving to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
  • CRT-Specialty Certification - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire
