RN Nurse Manager, Hospice
About The Position
VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (RN required) for their Richmond, VA Hospice office. This role involves leading care teams to deliver high-quality hospice services, ensuring excellent clinical and social care. The manager will develop relationships within the community and local facilities, collaborate with other hospice providers, and recruit core hospice team members. This position offers the opportunity to maintain clinical skills while developing leadership abilities. VCU Health at Home by BAYADA aims to provide the highest quality end-of-life care, allowing patients to remain at home with comfort, grace, and dignity, guided by values of compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Requirements
- Hospice experience required along with a passion for focusing on hospice care
- Desire to lead an interdisciplinary care team
- Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- BSN or Masters preferred
- Management experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the team by providing clinical guidance and judgment to promote understanding of and response to patient and family needs
- Participate in Performance Improvement & Quality Assurance activities
- Develop and mentor future hospice leaders
