About The Position

Under the direction of the Compliance Officer this position facilitates clinical and non-clinical personnel development and educational activities in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, accreditation standards, organization and departmental policies and procedures. This position reports to Compliance Officer.

Requirements

• Education level equivalent to completion of a Registered Professional Nursing Program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Clinical competence in advanced nursing skills required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia
• BLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor and PALS Instructor certification required.
• Basic management skills with experience in planning, organizing, implementing, facilitating, interviewing, counseling and verbal and written communications.
• Advanced skills in adult learning principles.
• Intermediate knowledge of accreditation standards.
• Intermediate computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet capabilities.
• Minimum three (3) years clinical experience in a hospital setting required.

Nice To Haves

• BTLS Instructor and NRP Instructor certifications preferred.
