About The Position

A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Nurse Educator to support clinical education and staff development, with a primary focus on Perioperative and Operating Room (OR) environments. The Nurse Educator will leverage strong clinical expertise to support nursing staff through education, training, and competency development, helping ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Perioperative and/or Operating Room (OR) settings
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Solid clinical background with strong teaching and communication skills
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Additional clinical or educator-related certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education and support for nursing staff, with a focus on Perioperative and OR settings
