About The Position

RN Neighborhood Guide - Somerset - Full time/Exempt - Starting salary range $120,000 (depending on experience) - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm and compassionate home-like environment in a state-of-the-art-community - Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, some evenings and weekends - The RN Neighborhood Guide is responsible for the overall operation of their assigned Small Homes. Responsibility of day-to-day functions including assessment, planning and delivery of quality care (health, safety and well-being) and development and evaluation of nursing personnel, in collaboration with nursing administration. This includes the direct management, development, and evaluation of nursing care partners, in collaboration with nursing leadership. Requirements

  • BSN from an accredited college or university strongly preferred, Associate Degree in Nursing required
  • Current unencumbered active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey
  • Minimum two (2) + years of direct management/supervisory experience in a healthcare setting; long-term care preferred
  • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
  • Must possess AHA CPR Certificate
  • Experience in nursing specialty of Geriatrics or Long-Term care required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and working knowledge of Electronic Health Records
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season
