About The Position

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The RN will provide comprehensive medical-surgical and telemetry care on night shift and must meet strict submission and competency requirements. Candidates must have recent specialty experience, Epic charting experience, and active required certifications. Every other holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact license in hand at submission
• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation
• Must pass medication safety assessment during orientation
• One recent specialty manager/supervisor reference required
• Ability to work nights and every other holiday

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Manage telemetry monitoring and escalation of changes
• Coordinate and prioritize patient care activities
• Document all care in Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Follow medication safety and clinical competency standards
