About The Position
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Denver, CO.The IR RN will assist with image-guided invasive procedures across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology suites. The Director is specifically seeking candidates with Medical Imaging experience who thrive in a fast-paced, procedural environment and demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO or compact state)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Recent Interventional Radiology and/or Medical Imaging nursing experience
- Must disclose all RTO at time of submission (no post-confirmation additions allowed)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year related experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients undergoing image-guided and invasive IR procedures
- Assist with procedures in IR, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI (including MRI with anesthesia and pacemaker observation)
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation per facility policy
- Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and patient monitoring
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesia providers, and imaging technologists
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech
