About The Position

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in an LDRP unit. This unit manages approximately 400 births annually and follows AWHONN staffing guidelines. Nurses care for obstetrics, antepartum, postpartum, and post-surgical GYN patients. Candidates must have strong labor experience and be comfortable titrating drips. Epic charting is used.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska RN license required
• Minimum 3 years Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Must pass open-book skills exam (90% required to pass)
• Must comply with artificial nail policy
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule (Driver’s license required at submission)
• Cannot be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring, antepartum, postpartum, and GYN surgical patients
• Monitor and manage high-risk pregnancies (HTN, diabetes)
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
• Follow AWHONN ratio guidelines (1:1 laboring; 1:3 postpartum)
• Support breastfeeding-friendly practices
• Document all care in Epic EMR
• Participate in orientation and required competency testing
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
