About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced float team. This role is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing patient and family education while maintaining high professional and clinical standards.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Strong IV and phlebotomy skills (must perform independently)
• BLS Certification (required)
• Completion of: Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Basic Arrhythmia Exam
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
• Active BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

• Travel nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
• Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
• Safely administer medications, including cardiac medications
• Manage IV therapy, chest drainage devices, epidural analgesia, and post-op care
• Provide care for orthopedic, medical, and terminally ill patients
• Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Respond effectively to emergency and urgent situations
• Educate patients and families and respect advance directives
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements
