About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The RN will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold professional nursing standards in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Ability to perform own phlebotomy and IV insertion
• Travel experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• BLS certification required
• Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
• Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
• Administer medications safely and assess patient responses
• Provide patient and family education
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Manage IV therapy, chest drainage devices, and epidural analgesia
• Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and medically complex patients
• Recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect per policy
• Respond effectively in emergency and urgent situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to all departmental, facility, and regulatory standards
