About The Position

RN Manager – Risk Management & Clinical Compliance Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab Center 8041 State Road 52 | Hudson, FL 34667 Bear Creek Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager for a salaried leadership position within our skilled nursing facility (SNF) . This role is ideal for a strong RN leader with a passion for risk management, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality improvement . Candidates with Risk Management certification are strongly preferred. Additional certifications such as Infection Preventionist (IP), QAPI, or other compliance-focused credentials are highly desirable. Position Overview The RN Manager provides leadership and oversight of clinical operations with a strong focus on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance . This role partners closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Administrator, and interdisciplinary team to proactively identify risks, support survey readiness, and ensure safe, compliant, high-quality resident care. This is a salaried, exempt leadership role requiring sound clinical judgment, strong oversight of documentation, and the ability to work independently while influencing outcomes across the building.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of Florida (required)
  • Previous RN management experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) (required)
  • Strong knowledge of SNF/LTC regulations, CMS guidelines, and state survey processes
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead through influence and accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Risk Management certification preferred
  • Infection Preventionist (IP) certification or training strongly preferred
  • Additional certifications related to quality, compliance, or clinical oversight are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee risk management processes
  • incident reporting, and follow-up investigations
  • Support survey readiness
  • audits, and plans of correction (POCs)
  • Monitor and review clinical documentation for accuracy, compliance, and risk reduction
  • Support infection prevention and control initiatives
  • Analyze trends related to falls, infections, incidents, and quality indicators
  • Participate in QAPI / QA processes and performance improvement initiatives
  • Educate and support nursing staff on SNF regulations, CMS guidelines, and compliance expectations
  • Collaborate with DON and leadership on clinical compliance and quality outcomes
