About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center Williamsburg, VA Registered Nurse Manager Hospital Resource Pool / Coordinator for Stroke & Magnet This role will manage approximately 20 FTEs as well as coordinate responsibility for Stroke and Magnet Programs at Williamsburg Regional Medical Center The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation. Shift : Days (flexible) The RN Manager is responsible and accountable for 24 hr operations, including scheduling, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members to achieve a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a 145-bed facility featuring the latest healthcare technologies, serving Williamsburg and the surrounding community. The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive maternity care where patients may stay in one room, as well as a Gold Level Geriatric ER. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides advanced imaging and “smart” operating rooms. The hospital has achieved Magnet® recognition, the nation’s high honor for excellence in nursing. It is one of the few hospitals in the nation that has achieved a consecutive Leapfrog A safety rating. Requirements

  • 2 y rs or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED
  • 2 yrs RECENT RN bedside hospital experience REQUIRED
  • Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
  • RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
