About The Position

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager – ICU to oversee clinical and operational functions within the Intensive Care Unit. This leadership role operates under the direction of nursing leadership and aligns with professional nursing standards, including the American Nurses Association (ANA) guidelines. The position is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care delivery, staff development, and efficient unit operations on a 24-hour basis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, clinical expertise in critical care, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 5 years of critical care nursing experience in an acute care setting
• At least 3 years of leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Coordinator, Supervisor, or Nurse Manager)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 30 days of hire
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification – required within 90 days of hire
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to maintain operational efficiency and quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage ICU operations across all shifts on a 24-hour basis
• Coordinate and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
• Support staff development, evaluations, and performance management
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and improve quality metrics and operational efficiency
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ICU staff
• Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
• Effectively manage complex situations and facilitate professional communication
