About The Position

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager specializing in Mother-Baby/Postpartum care to lead a well-established unit within a reputable healthcare facility. This leadership role is ideal for a candidate with strong clinical expertise and proven supervisory experience, committed to delivering high-quality patient care and driving team performance.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State or Compact)
  • BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • NRP certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of recent RN experience in women’s services (acute care setting)
  • At least 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong background in Mother-Baby and postpartum care
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in Mother-Baby/Postpartum units
  • Ability to lead and manage an experienced nursing team effectively
  • Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the Mother/Baby unit
  • Plan, organize, and manage unit activities to ensure efficient workflow
  • Supervise nursing staff including Registered Nurses, CNAs, and unit support staff
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and patient safety standards
  • Monitor patient care quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and enforce unit policies and procedures
  • Support staff training, development, and performance management
  • Collaborate with leadership, including Women’s Services, to enhance patient outcomes
