About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technologist with recent experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR). The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating advanced imaging equipment, including C-Arm systems, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Requirements

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Cath Lab experience (required)
• CMRT certification required if ARRT certified
• Hands-on experience with C-Arm imaging equipment
• Recent experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all imaging equipment is properly set up and functional
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures within the Cath Lab and IR settings
• Monitor patients during procedures, including those with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes, and other devices
• Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with established protocols
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency medications and therapeutic equipment
• Process, review, and optimize imaging results for accuracy and quality
• Identify and troubleshoot imaging issues, adjusting techniques as needed
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols
• Participation in after-hours on-call rotation is required
