About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Mission, TX and surrounding areas. The company has been providing care for the medically fragile community across the nation since 2000, operating on values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (HALOS). Angels of Care nurses provide direct, one-on-one medical care, making a difference in the lives of their patients and families. The role involves focusing on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing patient care and assessments, administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, coordinating care, educating family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes, and implementing preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care for the patient.

Requirements

Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
Provide care in a client home setting
Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!

Responsibilities

Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
Coordination of care.
Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient.
