RN / LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Brownsville, TX and surrounding areas. The organization has been providing care to the medically fragile community since 2000, operating under the values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (HALOS). Nurses at Angels of Care provide direct, one-on-one medical care to patients and their families. The company is looking for RNs and LPNs to fill full-time and part-time shifts, including days, nights, and weekends. The mission of Angels of Care is to deliver high-quality home health care to children and young adults in a loving, caring, and professional manner, with a vision to be recognized as the leading pediatric home health agency.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
