RN / LVN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Elgin, TX and surrounding areas. The company has been providing care to the medically fragile community across the nation since 2000, operating with values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed (#HALOS). This role involves providing direct, one-on-one medical care to infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home, making a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families. Angels of Care is looking for nurses to work full-time and part-time shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
