About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of Maternal and Child experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience required
• Minimum two (2) years of Conscious Sedation experience required
• Associate’s degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program required
• Active New York State RN License required
• Primary Source Verification from NYSED required
• AHA BLS certification required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures
• Excellent patient care and critical thinking skills
• Ability to perform under pressure in emergency situations
• Strong IV and phlebotomy skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as needed
• Provide patient education and emotional support to families
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
• Adhere to infection control and quality assurance protocols
• Perform additional duties as assigned
