About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN - Labor & Delivery for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of Maternal and Child nursing experience required
- At least two (2) years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
- At least two (2) years of experience with conscious sedation required
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program required
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Primary Source Verification from NYSED required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring safety of mother and newborn
- Utilize expertise in IV insertion and phlebotomy for patient stabilization and ongoing care
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation for specialized procedures
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams for low-risk and high-risk deliveries
