About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking RN – NICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Maternal and Child nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited program
- Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NYSED Primary Source Verification of licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonates requiring intensive monitoring and intervention
- Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion and phlebotomy on neonatal patients
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures while ensuring patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams in a NICU setting
- Communicate with and support families, providing updates and education regarding neonatal care
