About The Position
Join UW Health Carbone Cancer Center, the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin designated by the National Cancer Institute. This role is for a Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Center team. The nurse will work alongside a team of exceptional nurses, building meaningful, therapeutic relationships with patients and their families. The position involves providing care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including cancer and immunodeficiency, and safely administering various treatments such as chemotherapy, medication infusions, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions. The role also includes developing specialized expertise in apheresis treatments.
Requirements
- 6 months of relevant clinical experience
- Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire
- CPR certification Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Recent oncology experience
- Chemotherapy certification
Responsibilities
