Primary Responsibilities: Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic Communicate information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization’s policy & procedures Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization’s policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or higher
  • Texas RN license
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • 2+ years of RN experience in an Operating Room
  • Single service line experience
  • Proven basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • RN experience in Pre-Op, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital setting

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care
