The Registered Nurse in Radiology is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. He or she will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved RN nursing program
- Current and valid RN license
- BCLS certification
- 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN
- Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience
- Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging ACLS certification
- 2+ years or more nursing experience in a medical imaging department
- Windows computer experience, RIS experience
