About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE salaried position. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital located in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable The RN Data Analyst is a high-impact clinical quality role that directly influences performance outcomes, strategic growth, and our organization’s ability to deliver safe, reliable, and effective care. We are seeking a Registered Nurse Data Analyst who will: Analyze clinical outcomes data to identify trends, variation, and performance gaps. Translate insights into actionable improvement strategies in partnership with clinical leadership. Abstract, audit, and validate complex datasets to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing leaders, and operational teams to implement evidence-based improvements. Drive structured improvement work using A3, Lean, and QAPI methodologies. Monitor and report regulatory and quality metrics. Serve as a clinical liaison between frontline teams and analytics partners. Requirements

  • Graduate from a school of nursing with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Required
  • 2 years relevant experience Required
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience working transplant, organ donation, critical care, data/quality, or health informatics Preferred
