The Data Analyst supports Wake County's Research, Data, and System (RDS) division within the Housing Affordability and Community Revitalization (HACR) Department. This role contributes to the Department’s mission by analyzing, validating and reporting on housing and homelessness data used to inform programs, services and policy decisions across the housing continuum. The Data Analyst works with housing program staff, subject matter experts and technical partners to translate data into clear, actionable insights. This includes developing reports, dashboards and visualizations; supporting performance monitoring and regulatory reporting; and helping ensure data quality across housing-related systems such as HMIS, Neighborly and other program databases. The position operates independently on assigned projects while following established analytics standards, data quality practices and governance guidelines.
