About The Position

Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Data Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the Washington DC area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development. The Data Analyst Support role provides expert-level assistance in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) operations. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain operational security while delivering accurate and high-quality work products. Primary Duties: • Provide data analysis and management support to federal agencies.• Develop and execute Excel scripts and codes to ensure data accuracy.• Create and maintain tracking tools, worksheets, and productivity reports.• Analyze data using various strategies to draw well-supported conclusions.• Manage large datasets and apply creative solutions to data challenges.• Administer tracking mechanisms, user tools, and worksheets as necessary to track productivity, ensure mandates are followed, meet deadlines, respond to data calls, and accomplish other requirements as needed.• Ensure compliance with operational security requirements.• Communicate effectively with leadership and provide timely updates on tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • In lieu of a degree: Six (6) years of experience in the data management sector
  • Minimum of four (4) years documented experience in Data Management or Data Analyst positions supporting a federal agency.
  • Experience must go beyond general data entry and include advanced data analysis and management tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Ability to maintain operational security (OPSEC) and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience crafting and running Microsoft Excel scripts and codes to validate data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage and analyze various data formats and large datasets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using available tools and techniques.
  • Ability to develop and administer tracking mechanisms, user tools, and worksheets to monitor productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide timely updates to leadership.
  • Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and able to obtain the required security clearance for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing procurement sensitive, law enforcement sensitive, or other secure information is preferred.
