About The Position

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Data Analyst, visualization expert, and program management professional to join our team of talented consultants providing professional services to a Department of War (DoW) customer. The ideal candidate should be familiar with military courtesies and have strong oral and written communication skills. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent technical skills, organizational and planning skills, communication, and problem-solving skills, problem analysis, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment and decision-making ability, takes initiative and is adaptable and customer service oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities with minimum direction and supervision.
  • Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with, and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities: Demonstrated experience working with Power BI and/or Tableau, Salesforce, SharePoint, Excel, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Python).
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3+ years of relevant professional experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
  • Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PowerApps preferred.
  • Strong quantitative ability and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with DoW is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide applicable reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to analyze timelines, performance, statistics, workload balancing, and trend and predictive analysis.
  • Present findings and translate the data into useable formats.
  • Compile, organize, and clean data for input into dashboards.
  • Apply sound strategies for obtaining quality data from different sources, integrating, and developing actionable information to support quantitative analysis.
  • Assist in the design of processes, tools, or databases to distill key findings and provide recommendations to improve the program.
  • Maintain and collect data using different tools and statistical techniques such as MS SQL queries from various databases, such as but not limited to MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint and data management systems to provide accurate and reliable administrative reports, presentations and dashboards, as required.
  • Provide program management support functions, to include note taking and brief development.
