About The Position

The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data in complex US Air Force Aviation Maintenance Systems. This role supports reliability engineering, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis by leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and statistical methods. The goal is to provide data that enhances and increases the readiness and sustainability of USAF weapon systems by improving availability, accuracy and flow of essential maintenance information.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of aviation electronic, structural, mechanical systems and fault detection principles
  • Proficient knowledge of Technical Order 00-2-2 Maintenance Data Documentation, Work Unit Codes, How Malfunction Codes, and Corrective Action Codes
  • Proficiency in maintenance, supply, and performance data analysis and tracking tools such as Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS/G099), Centralized Asset Management System (CAMS/GO81) and Basing & Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE)
  • Familiarity with electronic intermittent fault detection technologies and reliability engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and collaborate to discuss projects, technical requirements, reports, and documents
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft office product, such a Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
  • Bachelor of Science in Aviation, or Business
  • Have an active, or be able to obtain a security clearance
  • Minimum of five years-experience in maintenance data systems, reliability, maintainability tracking and reporting
  • Minimum five years-experience using REMIS, and CAMS
  • Experience developing and interpreting aviation raw maintenance data, determining maintenance patters, and providing findings and reports into actionable information to senior leadership

Responsibilities

  • Collect and process data from US Government Systems or from data provided by the US Government
  • Analyze intermittent fault patterns to identify trends and potential failure points
  • Develop dashboards and reports for engineering and maintenance teams
  • Collaborate with US Government specialists to design, test, and improve fault detection processes
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality protocols
  • Efficiently process data
  • Provide root cause analysis
