RN CSICU (Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit)
About The Position
Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an RN for a permanent Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. We are seeking a dynamic RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
- Looking for candidates that have 1+ years of Acute Care RN experience (ICU experience not required but must have a strong acute care background)
- BLS required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days
Nice To Haves
- BSN is preferred
- CCRN a plus but must be obtained within 2 years
Responsibilities
- Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Provide high focus care with a commitment to continuous improvement
