RN Coordinator Transfer Center FT Nights Position Summary To coordinate Transfer Center transfers from the initial call through patient discharge and follow-up, providing the highest quality service to physicians, nurses, patients, and other medical professionals. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must possess the ability to interact and communicate in English, both orally and written, with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families in an effective manner, exhibiting tact, enthusiasm, and patience. Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing, or equivalent, from an accredited program.
  • 4 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current Arizona, or other compact state, Registered Nurse license
  • BLS
  • Must possess the ability to interact and communicate in English, both orally and written, with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families in an effective manner, exhibiting tact, enthusiasm, and patience.
  • Must be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • RN experience in an ER/Trauma, Neurosciences and/or Cardiovascular setting.
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to apply InterQual criteria.
  • ACLS
  • Applicable professional certification i.e. CCRN, CEN, CNRN
