About The Position

Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals at the UW Health Digestive Health Center. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Provide care for hepatology related conditions including Hepatitis C, Cirrhosis, Fatty Liver and more. Participate in multi-disciplinary clinics for hepatology patients, including the hepatology provider, addiction medicine provider and social worker. Utilize the Fibroscan for in clinic liver ultrasounds. Provide quality care to in a compassionate patient and family-centered environment. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness and education and provide chronic condition management/education. Assume responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing care of individual patients. Utilizing thorough triaging skills. Requirements

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Relevant RN experience Preferred
  • Applicable clinical certification Preferred
