CME Group is currently looking for a Risk Policy summer intern. This candidate will assist the Risk Policy department on day-to-day activities in support of CME Clearing's Risk Policy function including application development, query development and regulatory reporting/policy initiatives. Principal Accountabilities: Assist in Credit/Policy/Reporting initiatives in preparation of the launch of CME Securities Clearing. Assist in the creation and maintenance of a BigQuery semantic layer specific to Clearing data that will assist Clearing staff in interacting with the underlying raw data. Assist in the development of the internal development of CME Clearing applications to serve specific clearing house needs. Minimum Qualifications & Expectations: Available for Summer 2026 40 hours/week CME Group Chicago Office Working knowledge of SQL/HTML/CSS/Javascript Basic understanding of AI tools Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidate in good standing at an accredited institution (n.b., Bachelor’s degree candidates must be rising Seniors). Knowledge of derivatives preferred. Desire to learn essential. Strong to exceptional analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
