Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a health-related field or at least 3 years’ experience in Risk Management.

Nice To Haves

• Masters in Nursing, Business, or related field.
• CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) and/or CIC, CMIS (Certified Medical Insurance Specialist) Certification.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• At the direction of the Vice President of Legal Services and the System Risk Manager, the Insurance Coordinator will provide administrative direction and support to Northside Hospital’s insurance program.
• The Insurance Coordinator will have oversight of all insurance matters including renewal applications, request and maintain Certificate of Insurance claims histories and claims.
• The Insurance Coordinator will analyze incidents and investigate claims to identify potential risks and limit or prevent loss, functioning as a medical malpractice and general liability claims adjuster for Northside Hospital.
