About The Position

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator to join our Risk Management Department. POSITION SUMMARY: The Risk Management Department protects the financial and reputational integrity of the Company by aggressively mitigating and managing known risks and proactively identifying and planning for future risks. The Risk Management Coordinator will play a key role in the Department by performing a variety of duties such as monitoring and managing the Department’s general email inbox; sorting, scanning, and delivering mail; answering incoming phone calls; performing data entry; auditing claims; contacting injured workers; prepare claim letters; billing review and submission; department data tracking; and other tasks. Due to the nature of the position, the Risk Management Coordinator is expected to work in the office.

Requirements

  • Technical proficiency (MS Office and Gmail) required
  • Ability to learn a variety of computer systems
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor, Spanish speaking a plus

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the Department’s general email inbox
  • Sort, scan, and deliver mail to proper recipients
  • Analysis, data entry, and document preparation and management associated with incidents and claims
  • Contacting injured workers by phone
  • Collect and deliver employment records and data when required for claims
  • Prepare the mail letters when required for claims
  • Manage and respond to subpoenas
  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Perform other duties as assigned
