The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting Versant in various risk and insurance functions while developing and maintaining respectful, collaborative relationships with diverse constituents within the organization. Responsible for balancing competing priorities and performing essential risk management functions including: Supporting various insurance programs including Casualty, Management Liability, Media, Cyber, Property, Aviation, Pollution, and more. Assisting renewals and data collection with brokers, insurers, and internal colleagues Developing proficiency within risk analysis, coverage analysis, connecting with internal stakeholders and more. Collaborating with Safety, EHS, Facilities, vendors, service providers Assisting with insurance review and contract negotiation Supporting renewal efforts and program placements by collecting, evaluating, and analyzing underwriting submissions for completeness Performing day-to-day risk management and insurance functions to successfully manage current and expired programs Participating in underwriting meetings with brokers and carriers Providing cross-organizational collaboration and direction from a risk management perspective which impacts and/or interfaces with multiple functional areas including Finance, Real Estate, Legal, Global Facilities, Sourcing, and EHS Coordinating property insurer inspections for engineered locations prioritized by mission criticality and current loss expectancy Involvement in analysis of acquisitions from a multi-insurance coverage perspective. Assessing and effectively communicating business risks regarding risk exposures that may have operational and financial impact Collaborating with various service providers including risk engineering, insurers, and brokers as well as internal Versant partners to ensure open and ongoing communication of risk exposures Assisting with claims management when needed Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary A key part of responsibilities will also be to work across Treasury, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations on an as needed basis. For example, assisting Investor Relations in a supporting capacity, including creating presentations, sourcing information, and more will be part of on-going responsibilities
