Right of Way Project Coordinator: Assists in performing project management work related to state and federally funded right of way projects including: negotiating with landowners, helping relocate displacees, reviewing appraisals, assisting in the relocation of utilities, coordinating the eminent domain process, and assisting in the management of acquired right of way. ROW Project Manager I: The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, daily oversight, and delivery of projects. Project managers are typically responsible for leading the project lifecycle from initiation through completion. Performs complex project management work related to state and federally funded right of way projects including: negotiating with landowners, relocating displacees, reviewing appraisals, assisting in the relocation of utilities, coordinating the eminent domain process, and management of acquired right of way. Work involves coordinating the planning and initiation of projects; monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and communicating with project stakeholders, management, private entities, governmental agencies, and other relevant parties. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor. ROW Project Manager II: The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, daily oversight, and delivery of projects through completion. Performs and leads complex to moderately complex project management work related to state and federally funded right of way projects including: negotiating with landowners, relocating displacees, reviewing appraisals, assisting in the relocation of utilities, coordinating the eminent domain process, and management of acquired right of way. Work includes leading, coordinating, and executing the planning and initiation of projects; identifying potential risks while monitoring the progress and schedule of projects; and communicating with project stakeholders, management, private entities, governmental agencies, and other relevant parties. May direct, assign, and evaluate the work of project staff. Employees at this level follow standard practices that do not require frequent supervision of details.
