Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in right-of-way project management, with a focus on 345kV plus transmission line projects
  • Knowledge, experience and contacts in right of way work related to high voltage transmission lines
  • IRWA Member
  • IRWA SR/WA designation
  • Skill in conflict resolution includes the ability to address differences of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicate and document effectively, handle large volumes of work
  • Extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles in project execution
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-paced and evolving work environments
  • Commitment to fostering positive relationships with stakeholders and contributing to long-term organizational success
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of acquisition and relocation procedures under the Uniform Relocation Act
  • Experience with GIS, Microsoft Office Products and various databases
  • Ability to travel 10%

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects for multiple types of right of way projects with an emphasis on 345kV or greater transmission lines
  • Business development with existing and potentially new clients
  • Project management
  • Working directly with clients and design teams
  • Coordination for title research, survey, legal and appraisal consultants
  • Managing and working with agents on administrative issues and negotiation services
