About The Position

This position supports the Wealth Strategy team and planning software tools (powered by eMoney) for RIA licensed users. Responsibilities include aiding in the delivery of the discovery and financial planning experience, documenting financial situations, and developing Wealth Strategy analyses. The role also includes training, coaching, reporting, and resolving issues related to planning software. Please see below for specific responsibilities and requirements for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical competence in personal financial planning (retirement, college, tax planning).
  • Financial Planning: Technical competence in retirement, college, and tax planning.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of eMoney Advisor or comparable planning software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, etc.).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve operational issues.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • CFP Certification: CFP or progress toward certification.
  • Investment Knowledge: Understanding of Investment Management, Brokerage, Private Banking, Insurance, and/or Trust.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in reporting and analyses.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams and clients.
  • Technology Projects: Experience participating in technology project teams.
  • Adaptability: Being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Planning Software Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of planning software tools and stay updated on enhancements.
  • User Support: Support discovery experience and planning software via calls and Teams; train and coach users.
  • Training Material Development: Assist in developing training materials for planning software adoption.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and share ideas for improving planning tools and experience.
  • Client Analysis: Produce key analyses (Net Worth, Cash Flow, Tax) based on client priorities.
  • Client Onboarding: Assist in onboarding clients in the portal and planning system.
  • Internal Support: Serve as key contact for internal user questions and problem resolution.
  • Research & Resolution: Perform in-depth research to resolve client problems timely.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Create reports for utilization and process tracking.
  • Technology Projects: Participate in technology project teams and drive deliverables.
  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.
