Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit, especially for MEP drafting or coordination.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design principles.
- Ability to interpret and convert field data (laser scans, as-builts) into detailed Revit models.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed MEP-focused models and drawings in Autodesk Revit (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and field technicians to document existing conditions and translate laser scan data into accurate 2D and 3D deliverables.
- Perform clash detection, coordination, and constructability reviews across MEP systems.
- Work on a wide variety of projects, each with unique scopes, client standards, and software workflows.
- Coordinate with project managers and survey teams to ensure design intent and technical requirements are met.
- Integrate laser scan data, point clouds, and 360° imagery into BIM workflows.
- Utilize Coast 2 Coast’s advanced tech stack (AutoCAD, Navisworks, and emerging Revit plugins) to enhance deliverable accuracy.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by learning new tools and techniques for MEP and BIM modeling.
