About The Position

We are seeking a Reverse Logistics Manager to lead the implementation of our multi-year strategic circular economy roadmap. This role is remote based in the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming the Reverse Logistics (RL) department into a strategic engine for sustainability and profitability by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of high-complexity hardware return and recovery projects. Your primary goal is to drive the transition of asset rebuild and reconditioning programs from pilot phases to scalable, global production. You will act as the central coordinator between technical engineering teams, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies, resolving operational blockers to achieve aggressive landed-cost reduction targets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain, or Operations, with a proven focus on Reverse Logistics, Hardware Refurbishment, or Asset Recovery.
  • Functional understanding of electro-mechanical assembly, Design of Experiments (DOE) principles, and experience navigating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Experience working within highly regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or medical devices) and familiarity with global environmental compliance standards (e.g., WEEE, Battery Directives).
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into executive-level status updates and drive consensus among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and drive initiatives that directly improve unit economics and "landed cost" metrics.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the departmental roadmap, including component reuse initiatives and the global rollout of new product recovery operations.
  • Lead recurring synchronization meetings and drive accountability across Legal, Regulatory Policy, Reliability Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve critical program blockers.
  • Partner with IT to develop and implement robust Information System support to replace manual tracking with automated, real-time data visibility for high-volume asset flows.
  • Manage the timeline for international initiatives, including regional recycling programs, ROI analysis for new markets, and the onboarding of Third-Party Service Providers (3PSPs).
  • Define and standardize end-to-end manufacturing process documentation to satisfy stringent quality and regulatory requirements for the reintroduction of reconditioned assets into service.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to intellectual property protection (data wiping), trade compliance, and sub-assembly life-limit tracking.
